Return & Refund Policy

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it has been processed or shipped. If the cancellation is successful, you will receive a full refund.

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.


Returns

At Mélia Essentielle Montreal, we offer a 14-day return policy. This means you have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required

Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as we will provide the correct return instructions.


Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 5 days of delivery

  • Provide clear photo evidence of the issue

Once verified:

  • We will send a free replacement, or

  • Offer a suitable solution without requiring you to return the item


Returns for Non-Defective Items

If you wish to return or exchange an item for personal reasons (e.g., you don’t like the product):

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Return shipping must be arranged and paid by the customer

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will refund the product cost only (excluding shipping fees).


Refund Process

After receiving your return:

  • We will inspect the item

  • You will be notified by email regarding approval or rejection

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 3–6 business days

Estimated Refund Times

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 1–14 business days

  • PayPal: up to 48 hours

  • Store Credit: within 48 hours


Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued if:

  • The item shows signs of use

  • The item is not in its original condition

  • Parts are missing or damaged (not due to our error)


Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your credit card provider

  3. Contact your bank

Lost Packages

  • If your package is lost in transit and confirmed by the courier, we will resend your order free of charge

  • If a package is lost due to incorrect shipping details provided by the customer, additional fees may apply


Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or delivery issues caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government actions

  • Strikes or disruptions

  • Public health events or pandemics


Personalized Items

Custom or personalized products are non-refundable and cannot be returned, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
